I would say you have it entirely paid for the last month rather than next month’s SIM card fees; why have part this month but mostly last?
That’s assuming it’s not the other way around!
This is how it often works anyhow; variable usage-based costs are paid the following month and fixed ones are paid upfront. E.g., my old mobile contract was paid upfront (a bundle), then additional fees as part of the next bill (out of bundle, international calls, etc.).
Personally, I would like to pay the fixed SIM charge once every six months or even once per the year, and a direct debit would make much more sense for that.
