Brilliant. 
I like this way of putting it in particular:
Think of a privacy policy as a list of the few ways your data won’t be used, and assume it will be used in every other way imaginable.

Your right, most privacy policies state “we won’t sell your data” yet they never say we won’t “exchange” or “rent” or even “give away”.
Which by their wording they are allows to exchange/rent…
