SMS charges from the UK to EU numbers

I’ve just been looking at prices on SMS from the UK to Malta which is 10p but I would have thought it should be 6p (5p excluding VAT) as there’s a cap on UK to any EU number for texts (and calls) as per https://www.ofcom.org.uk/phones-telecoms-and-internet/advice-for-consumers/costs-and-billing/calls-and-texts-to-other-eu-countries Just wondering about this.

Hi Paul,

You’re absolutely right; that’s completely my fault. I’ve updated all the tariffs to make international SMS from the UK to EU countries 5p per message (incl. VAT), effective now.

I’ve also refunded all the overcharges, so any SMS you’ve sent to Europe will show as 5p and the extra credit is in your account balance.
